About Dr. Mikos: Karolina Mikos, MD is a Board Certified Internist, Chemist, Speaker and Holistic Health Practitioner with focus on Mind-Body Medicine and Psychedelic Medicine. Karolina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in addition to her MD, and is currently licensed to practice Medicine by the State of Illinois. She holds certificates in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy from ATMA Academy in Calgary, Alberta, is certified by the Whole Health Medical Institute, California in Holistic Medicine, by the IFS Institute in IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy Foundation, as well as the Medical Cannabis Mentor in Medical Marijuana therapeutics. Karolina is passionate about serving her community by educating and holding space for people seeking healing, growth and transformation through the safe and sacred use of Plant Medicines. Having studied the mind body connection, the placebo effect, energy medicine, epigenetics, and trauma, Karolina teaches her patients how to heal from within by tapping into the infinite potential of their inner healer, which she believes to be an essential adjunct to cultivating the wisdom of Plant Medicines.
